Removal Procedure

  1. Cycle the folding top open.
  2. Stop the cycle before the folding top stowage compartment lid starts to close.
  3. Place a protective covering on the rear upper garnish molding.

  4. Remove the body rear compartment lid fasteners.

  5. Unlatch the body rear compartment lid latches.

  6. Remove the body rear compartment lid from the vehicle.
  7. Disconnect the vehicle battery. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure in Engine Electrical.

  8. Release the control module clips.

  9. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

  10. Remove the control module from the vehicle.
