Removal Procedure

NOTE:
Avoid touching the bulb or letting the bulb come in contact with anything damp. Oil from your skin or moisture on the bulb can cause the bulb to explode when the bulb is turned on. If either comes in contact with the bulb, clean the bulb with alcohol or a suitable degreaser and wipe the bulb dry.
IMPORTANT:
Verify what bulb needs replacement prior to bulb removal.
- Turn wheels to gain access to the headlamp door access cover in the wheelhouse liner.
- Remove the headlamp door access cover fastener.
- Remove the headlamp door access cover from the vehicle.
- Disconnect the headlamp electrical connector from the bulb.
- Turn bulb counterclockwise 1/4 turn to release the bulb.
- Remove the bulb from the vehicle.
