Installation Procedure

  1. Install the front rocker panel onto the vehicle by sliding into clip.
  2. Push upward to seat the rocker panel retainers.

    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the rocker panel fasteners.

    Tighten:  Tighten the rocker panel fasteners to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

  4. Install the wheelhouse liner. Refer to Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Front in Body Front End.
  5. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  6. Lower the vehicle.

  7. Install the rocker panel door retainers.
  8. Install the door sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement in Interior Trim.
  9. Close the door.
