Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the IP steering column opening trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel (I/P) Trim Panel Replacement - Left in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  2. Disconnect the cruise control release switch electrical connector (3).
  3. Loosen the cruise control release switch locknut.
  4. Remove the cruise control release switch (1) with the locknut from the clutch pedal bracket by unscrewing it in the counterclockwise direction.
