Installation Procedure

  1. Install the fan/clutch assembly to the vehicle.
  2. Install the shroud and secure with the 4 clips.
  3. Reposition and attach the power steering reservoir to the power steering reservoir bracket.

  4. Install the fan/clutch assembly to the pulley hub.
    5. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  5. Install the 4 fan nuts (1). Use a second wrench to hold the fan shaft.

    Tighten:  Tighten the fan nuts to 11 N.m (97 lb in).

  6. Connect the negative battery cable.

    Tighten:  Tighten the battery cable bolt to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).
