Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Vehicle Lifting Caution in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Raise the vehicle.
    2. Fig 1: View Of HO2S & Connector

    NOTE: Refer to Heated Oxygen and Oxygen Sensor Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Disconnect the connector (2) for the HO2S.
    3. NOTE: Refer to Excessive Force and Oxygen Sensor Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Remove the HO2S (1) using a J 39194-B  . See Special Tools .
