Removal Procedure

- Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
- Drain the coolant. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (LA1) or Draining and Filling Cooling System (L61) .
- Pull the drain cock stem out of the radiator body.
- Clean or replace the seal and the drain cock stem as necessary.
