Installation Procedure

  1. Position the front fender to the vehicle.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the front fender upper bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the front fender upper bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  5. Install the front fender lower bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the front fender lower bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  7. Install the front fender front brace bolt to the body.

    Tighten:  Tighten the front fender front brace bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  9. Install the front fender rear center bracket to the front fender bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the front fender rear center bracket to the front fender bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  11. Install the front fender rear brace bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the front fender rear brace bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  12. Install the rocker panel molding. Refer to Molding Replacement - Rocker Panel in Exterior Trim.
  13. Install the bumper fascia to the front fender. Refer to Fascia Replacement - Front Bumper .
  14. Install the front fender liner. Refer to Front Fender Liner Replacement .
  15. Install the hood hinge. Refer to Hood Hinge Replacement .
  16. Remove the tape from the edges of the fender.
  17. Close the hood.
