Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Remove the negative battery cable.

  2. Remove the cable (4) at the transmission (2) shift control assembly (3).
  3. Remove the cable at the transaxle cable bracket.
  4. Remove the center console. Refer to Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  5. Remove the cable at the shift control assembly.
  6. Remove the cable grommet at the cowl.
  7. Remove the cable from the vehicle.
