SERVICE INFORMATION

The need to remove the PCM from the Chevrolet Equinox for reprogramming has been eliminated. Dealers will no longer be required to install the PCM into a Malibu in order to program it. Effective with TIS release 9.5 for 2004 and Tech 2 software version 24.006, the PCM may be reprogrammed without removing it from the vehicle.
