Removal Procedure

Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
Unsnap the positive battery cable cover (3), and reposition.
Loosen the positive battery cable bolt (1).
Separate the positive battery cable (2) from the battery.

Remove the battery vent tube from the battery.

Remove the battery hold down bolt and hold down.
Remove the battery.
