Preliminary Procedures

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (LY7, LZ4, Static Fill) or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LAT Static Fill) or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LE5 Static Fill) .
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
1 Generator Control Module Coolant Pump Bolt
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tighten:  22 N.m (16 lb ft)

2 Generator Control Module Coolant Pump

Procedure

  1. Using J 38185  reposition the generator coolant pump hose clamps.
  2. Remove the hoses from the generator control module coolant pump.
  3. Disconnect electrical connection.

J 38185  Hose Clamp Pliers
