Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .

    NOTE:

    DO NOT re-use the lower ball joint bolt. Discard and use NEW only.

  4. Remove the lower ball joint to knuckle nut and bolt (1).
  5. Separate the lower control arm from the knuckle.

  7. Remove the front lower control arm bolt (1).

  9. Remove the rear lower control arm bushing nuts (1) and (2) bolts.

  11. Remove the lower control arm (1) from the front frame.
