Installation Procedure

  1. Position the transaxle bracket to the transaxle.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the transaxle bracket bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bracket bolts to 95 N.m (70 lb ft).

  3. Remove the support from the transaxle.

  4. Install the upper nuts which secure the transaxle bracket to the transaxle mount.

    Tighten:  Tighten the upper nuts to 47 N.m (35 lb ft).

  5. Install the left engine splash shield. Refer to Splash Shield Replacement - Engine - Left in Body Front End.
  6. Install the left front tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  7. Lower the vehicle.
