Brake Apply Sensor (BAS) Replacement

If the brake apply sensor (BAS) is replaced, the following procedures must be performed:

• BCM Reprogramming-Refer to Body Control Module (BCM) Programming/RPO Configuration in Computer/Integrating Systems for replacement, setup, and programming.
• Brake Pedal Position Sensor Calibration-Refer to Brake Pedal Position Sensor Calibration in Lighting Systems.
• Theft Learn-Refer to Programming Theft Deterrent System Components in Theft Deterrent.
