Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Vehicle Lifting Caution in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle.
  2. Remove the wheels. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels
  3. Remove the outer tie rod. Refer to Rack and Pinion Outer Tie Rod End Replacement .
  4. Remove the dust boot retaining clamps.
  5. Remove the dust boot.
