Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the audio system with the screws.
Tighten: Tighten the screws to 4 N.m (35 lb in) .
Install the center molding. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Center (Four Door) or Trim Panel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Center (Five Door/Wagon) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
Connect the negative battery cable.
Enter the audio security system 4-digit code. Refer to Radio/Audio System Description and Operation .
