Installation Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2005 Saturn L300. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Connect the wiring to the air bag.
- Align the air bag studs with holes in the steering wheel and press into position.
- Install the upper steering column trim cover. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement .
- Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 3 .
IMPORTANT:
Press each corner of the air bag until all spring retainers snap into position.
