Automatic Transmission Range Selector Cable Adjustment

- Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
- Shift the transmission into NEUTRAL.
- Using a flat bladed screwdriver, carefully pry to release the transmission shift control cable adjustment lock.
- Check to be sure that the transmission floor shift control is in the NEUTRAL detent position.
- Check to be sure that the transmission is in the NEUTRAL detent position.
- Press to secure the transmission shift control cable adjustment lock.
- Lower the vehicle.
