Installation Procedure

With an assistant, position the hood to the marks at hinges.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

With an assistant install the hood bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
Install the hood insulator, if required. Refer to Hood Insulator Replacement .
Lower the hood slowly and check the fit. Adjust the hood if required. Refer to Hood Adjustment .
