Removal Procedure

Raise the hood.
Lift up the right end of the hood seal.

Lift up the right side of the cowl cover.

Remove the nuts from the transaxle control module (TCM) cover.

Lift the cover off of the studs.
Depress the lock and rotate the connector lever down.
Disconnect TCM electrical connector.

Depress the lock tab holding the TCM in the carrier.

Lift the TCM straight up to remove the TCM from the carrier.
