Installation Procedure

  1. Route the wires through the tie strap and the conduit.

  2. Install the O-ring (3) to the automatic level control air compressor.

  3. Install the air compressor head.
    4. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the air compressor head bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the air compressor head bolts in the order shown to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

  5. Install the wiring to terminals B and C on the automatic level control air compressor electrical connector.
  6. Install the air dryer to the automatic level control air compressor. Refer to Automatic Level Control Air Dryer Replacement .
  7. Install the automatic level control air compressor to the vehicle. Refer to Air Compressor Replacement .
