NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Fastener Tightening Specifications: Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications . CAUTION: Refer to SIR Caution . Preliminary Procedures Disable the supplemental inflatable restraint (SIR) system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 1 . Remove the upper air baffle and deflector. Refer to Radiator Air Baffle and Deflector Replacement - Upper . Remove both headlamps. Refer to HEADLAMP REPLACEMENT (IMPALA) or HEADLAMP REPLACEMENT (MONTE CARLO) . Remove the fascia grille support bolts, 8 total. DO NOT remove the bumper fascia. Refer to FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER REPLACEMENT . Remove the retainers from fascia to grille support, 4 total. Pull the grille support forward to gain clearance to the sensors.
1	Bolt, Inflatable Front End Sensor Mounting (Qty: 2) Tighten: 11 N.m (97 lb in)
