Installation Procedure

Install the intermediate pipe.

Install the exhaust manifold/catalytic converter to intermediate pipe nuts.Tighten: Tighten the nuts to 35 N.m (26 lb ft).
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
Install the HO2S. Tighten: Tighten the sensor to 42 N.m (31 lb ft).

Connect the HO2S electrical connector (2).

Install the CPA retainer (1).
Install the muffler assembly. Refer to Muffler Replacement (Sedan) or Muffler Replacement (Sedan SS) or Muffler Replacement (Maxx, Maxx SS) .
