Installation Procedure

Lubricate the O-ring seal of the VSS with clean engine oil.
Install the VSS into the hole on the axle case.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Install the VSS retaining bolt the differential.
Tighten: Tighten the vehicle speed sensor retaining bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

Connect the electrical connector to the sensor.
Lower the vehicle.
