Installation Procedure

Install a stationary window into the opening. Refer to Urethane Adhesive Installation of Stationary Windows .

Install the windshield side reveal moldings. Refer to Side Reveal Molding Replacement (Coupe and Convertible) or Side Reveal Molding Replacement (Hardtop) .

Install the windshield weatherstrip. Refer to Weatherstrip Replacement (Coupe and Convertible) or Weatherstrip Replacement (Hardtop) .

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
Install the fender mounting screws.
Tighten: Tighten the screws to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in).

Install the air inlet screen. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement .

Install the air inlet screen seal. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement .
Install the windshield wiper arms and washer hoses. Refer to Wiper Arm, Blade, Insert Replacement - Front .

Install the windshield side garnish moldings.

Remove the rearview mirror. Refer to Rearview Mirror Replacement (Except DD8) or Rearview Mirror Replacement (DD8) .
Perform the appropriate step:
- For the coupe, install the roof lift-off panel.
- For the convertible, raise and close the folding top.
Close the door windows.
Remove the double layer of masking tape around the perimeter of the painted surfaces and the interior trim.
Close the hood.
