Removal Procedure

- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the lower trim from the center pillar. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement (Notchback) or Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement (Hatchback) .
- Disconnect the side air bag sensor connector (2).
- Remove the side air bag sensor mounting bolt.
- Remove the side air bag sensor (1).
