Installation Procedure

  1. Install the motor. Refer to Sunroof Motor/Actuator Replacement .
  2. Connect the electrical connector to the motor/actuator.
  3. Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (without DE1) or Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (with DE1) .
  4. Perform the Initialization/Teach Procedure. Refer to Sunroof Motor/Actuator Initialization/Teach Process (Existing Motor)  or Sunroof Motor/Actuator Initialization/Teach Process (New Motor) .
  5. Verify the operation of the sunroof.
