Removal Procedure

Place the module in the full open position.
It is only necessary to lower the headliner. Only perform the steps in headliner replacement procedure that will lower the headliner enough to gain access to the part. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (without DE1) or Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (with DE1) .
Disconnect the electrical connector from the motor/actuator.
Remove the motor. Refer to Sunroof Motor/Actuator Replacement .
Push the window guides rearward on the track until the guides are positioned against the rear hard stop.
