Removal Procedure

Using a scan tool, capture the ECM data.
Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
Remove the ECM water deflector.

Release the ECM upper retaining tabs.

Disconnect the ECM electrical connectors.
Remove the ECM from the bracket.
