Installation Procedure

  1. Install the exhaust manifold heat shield (1).
    2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Install the exhaust manifold heat shield studs (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the studs to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).

  3. Install the air cleaner bracket.
  4. Install the air cleaner bracket nuts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  5. Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .
