Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Lower the automatic level control (ALC) air compressor assembly. Refer to Air Compressor Replacement .
  3. Remove the ALC compressor relay. Refer to Automatic Level Control Relay Replacement .

  4. Remove the ALC shield bolt (1) and retainers.
  5. Remove the ALC shield (2) from the vehicle.
