Setup For Component Replacement

The replacement of some components will require a setup procedure for complete repair.

NOTE: If the throttle plate is cleaned, an Idle Learn Procedure must be performed.

If any of the following components are replaced, an Idle Learn Procedure must be performed. Refer to THROTTLE/IDLE LEARN .
- Throttle body assembly
- ECM
If any of the following components are replaced, a CKP Variation Learn Procedure must be performed. Refer to CRANKSHAFT POSITION SYSTEM VARIATION LEARN .
- CKP sensor
- Engine replacement
- Any engine repair that disturbs the relationship between CKP sensor and the crankshaft reluctor wheel.
If any of the following components are replaced, a Clutch Pedal Position Sensor Learn Procedure must be performed. Refer to CLUTCH PEDAL POSITION SENSOR LEARN .
- Clutch pedal
- Clutch pedal position sensor
