Installation Procedure

  1. Position the center exhaust heat shield (2) to the vehicle.
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the center exhaust heat shield to body retaining bolts (1) and tighten to 4 N.m (35 lb in).
  3. Install the underbody tunnel brace.
  4. Install the intermediate exhaust assembly. Refer to Exhaust Crossover Pipe Replacement .
  5. Lower the vehicle to the ground.
