Installation Procedure

  1. Install a new inflatable restraint side impact module to the seat frame.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the module (2) to the seat frame and install the 2 retaining nuts (1) and tighten to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

  3. Install the module wiring harness (1), (2), (3) and (4) to the seat.

  4. Install the module wiring harness (1) through the underside of the seat frame.
  5. Install the front seat back trim cover, refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement .
  6. Install the front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
