Installation Procedure

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  1. Install the glow plug(s) and tighten to 18 N.m (13 lb ft) .
  2. Install the harness to the glow plug(s).
  3. Install the glow plug harness nut(s) and tighten to 1.7 N.m (15 lb in).
  4. Install the left front wheel and tire. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  5. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  6. Install the wheelhouse splash shield. Refer to Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement .
  7. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .
