Removal Procedure

  1. Raise the vehicle just high enough to remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  2. Remove the stabilizer shaft link from the front suspension strut. Refer to Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement .

  4. Remove the front suspension strut mounting nut (1) on the front suspension strut stud (2).
  5. Raise the vehicle high enough to access the lower front suspension strut bolts.
  6. Support the lower control arm with a adjustable jack stand.

  8. Remove the front suspension strut nut (2) from the front suspension strut bolts (5).
  9. Disconnect the wheel speed sensor electrical connectors (3) and (4).
  10. Remove the wheel speed sensor bracket (1), and relocate to the side.

  12. Remove the front suspension strut bolts (2) from the front suspension strut (1).

  14. Remove the front suspension strut (2) from the vehicle (1).
