Installation Procedure

  1. Engage the shift lever (4) to the linear shift assembly.

    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Install the shift lever screw (3) to the shift lever (4) and tighten it to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
  3. Connect the shift lever electrical connector at the base of the steering column.
  4. Install the steering column trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Cover Replacement .
