Preliminary Procedures Remove the right instrument panel insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side . Remove the right instrument panel side trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Side Trim Panel Replacement . Remove the right instrument panel lower trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side .
1	Instrument Panel Compartment Air Outlet Procedure: Use a flat bladed plastic trim tool in order to release the outlet assembly from the instrument compartment.
2	Instrument Panel Compartment Fasteners (Qty: 9) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten: 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
3	Instrument Panel Compartment Assembly Procedures Disconnect the electrical connections. When replacing the instrument panel compartment assembly, transfer all necessary components.
