Preliminary Procedure Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle . Partially lower and support the exhaust system. Refer to Exhaust Muffler with Resonator, Exhaust, and Tail Pipe Replacement (L99,LS3,LFX) , Exhaust Muffler with Resonator, Exhaust, and Tail Pipe Replacement (LSA) .
1	Nut (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . TIP: Tighten the nuts until secure.
2	Exhaust Heat shield Procedure Reposition the differential cooler pipes as necessary, if equipped.
