Circuit/System Verification

  1. Engine running, command the Supercharger Bypass Solenoid Valve, duty cycle from 0-90 % in 10 % increments with a scan tool. Listen and feel for a clicking at the Q36 supercharger bypass solenoid valve.
  2. Engine running, command the Supercharger Bypass Solenoid Valve between 0-10 % with a scan tool while observing the following control circuit status parameters:
    • Supercharger Bypass Solenoid Valve Control Circuit High Voltage Test Status
    • Supercharger Bypass Solenoid Valve Control Circuit Open Test Status
    • Supercharger Bypass Solenoid Valve Control Circuit Low Voltage Test Status

      Each parameter should be OK or Not Run.

  3. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC to verify the DTC does not reset. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
