Removal Procedure

Remove the upper and lower steering column trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Cover Replacement .

Fig 1: Identifying Ignition Lock Cylinder Lamp Socket & Theft Deterrent Module

Remove the theft deterrent module (1) from the steering column. Refer to Theft Deterrent Module Replacement .
Turn the ignition lock cylinder lamp socket (2) counter clockwise and remove from the socket from the theft deterrent module (1).
Pull and remove the bulb from the ignition lock cylinder lamp socket.
