Supercharger Bypass Valve Actuator Replacement

Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Remove the charge air bypass regulator solenoid. Refer to Charge Air Bypass Regulator Solenoid Valve Replacement 
  2. Remove the three power steering bracket bolts. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement (6.2L LS3, 7.0L LS7) , Power Steering Pump Replacement (6.2L LS9 - With Supercharger)
1 Supercharger Air Bypass Regulator Actuator Fastener
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
10 N.m (89 lb in)
2 Supercharger Air Bypass Regulator Actuator

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the Vacuum Tube from the supercharger.
  2. Disconnect the vacuum tubes from the supercharger air bypass regulator actuator.
  3. Adjust the valve. Refer to Supercharger Assemble
