Installation Procedure

Install the battery negative cable (1) to the battery.

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Fasten the battery negative cable nut (2) and tighten the nut to 4.5 N.m (40 lb in).

Install the battery cover (1).
Insert the ignition key and turn the ignition to the ON position.
Program volatile memory. Refer to Volatile Memory Programming .
Program all of the customer's radio station presets and set the radio clock to the current time.
