Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the fuel injection sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement .
  2. Remove the high pressure pump shield. Refer to Fuel Pipe Shield Replacement .
  3. Relieve the fuel system pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief (Without CH-48027) , Fuel Pressure Relief (CH-48027) , Fuel Pressure Relief (High Side) .

  4. Loosen the fuel rail crossover pipe (1) fitting to the right fuel rail (2).
  5. Loosen the fuel rail crossover pipe (1) fitting to the left fuel rail (3).
  6. Remove the fuel rail crossover pipe (1) from the vehicle. Discard the pipe.
