WARNING: Refer to SIR Warning . Preliminary Procedure Disable the supplemental inflatable restraint (SIR) system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling . Remove the instrument panel side trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Side Trim Panel Replacement .
1	Instrument Panel Airbag Disable Switch Assembly Procedure Use a small flat bladed tool to aid in the removal of the switch from the instrument panel side trim panel. Disconnect the electrical connector.

Preliminary Procedure

Disable the supplemental inflatable restraint (SIR) system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .

Instrument Panel Airbag Disable Switch Assembly

Procedure

Use a small flat bladed tool to aid in the removal of the switch from the instrument panel side trim panel.
Disconnect the electrical connector.
