Preliminary Procedures Remove the front side door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Replacement Remove the front side door lock cover. Refer to Front Side Door Lock Cover Replacement .
1	Front Side Door Outside Handle Rod Procedures Remove the front side door water deflector. Unbolt and reposition the front side door rear run channel to access lock. Open the handle rod clip. Inspect the door locking system for proper operation before installing the trim panel.

Front Side Door Outside Handle Rod

Procedures

Remove the front side door water deflector.
Unbolt and reposition the front side door rear run channel to access lock.
Open the handle rod clip.
Inspect the door locking system for proper operation before installing the trim panel.
