Installation Procedure

  1. Position the rear brake shield (1) and wheel bearing/hub assembly (2) onto the rear axle assembly.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Install wheel bearing/hub mounting bolts (1) and tighten a first pass to 50 (37 lb ft).
  4. Tighten the wheel bearing/hub mounting bolts (1) a final pass to an additional 30 - 45 degrees, using the EN-45059  meter.

  6. Install the wheel speed sensor (2).
  7. Install the wheel speed sensor bolt (1) and tighten to 6 (53 lb in).
  8. Install the brake rotor. Refer to Rear Brake Rotor Replacement .
  9. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  10. Lower the vehicle.
