Inflatable Restraint Front End Sensor Replacement

CAUTION: Refer to SIR Caution . Preliminary Procedures Disable the supplemental inflatable restraint (SIR) system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling . Remove the upper air baffle and deflector. Refer to Radiator Air Upper Baffle and Deflector Replacement . Remove both headlamps. Refer to Headlamp Replacement (Impala) . Remove the fascia grille support bolts, 8 total. DO NOT remove the bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Energy Absorber Replacement . Remove the retainers from fascia to grille support, 4 total. Pull the grille support forward to gain clearance to the sensors.
1	Inflatable Front End Sensor Mounting Bolts (Qty: 2) NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 11 N.m (97 lb in)
