Circuit/System Validation

- Apply and release brake pedal. Verify brake lamps operate properly.
- If brake lamps do not operate properly, refer to Symptoms - Lighting Systems .
- Replace brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV) assembly.
- If DTC resets, replace the EBCM.
